Fluorescent pigment yellow

Fluorescent pigment (neon) is a powdery chemical that glows with a bright acid color under ultraviolet lamps.

Under normal lighting, the pigment has a saturated neon color.

The pigment is used as a filler for various binders, which can be varnishes, plastic, building and art materials.

When mixed, the pigment does not interact with the binder material, but gives it a bright neon color and glow properties under ultraviolet (UV) lamps.
